Chad Kaminski was born on October 25th in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and grew up as the middle child of three boys. After graduating from high school in 2001, he joined the Army that summer and served for several years. During his service, Chad earned his bachelor's degree in criminal justice with a focus on forensics from UNC, followed by a bachelor's in aviation and business management from Baker College in Muskegon. He is currently working on his master's degree in technical education from GVSU.

Outside of work and school, Chad is passionate about motorsports and the outdoors. He enjoys camping, biking, and racing motorcycles in his free time. Chad is currently the Senior Sales Manager at The Goodies Factory and Poppin Popcorn, where he was hired after his military career. His goals for the future include caring for his family and friends and eventually relocating to a warmer state such as North Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, or Alabama.
